XVR/DVR

An XVR, or Hybrid Video Recorder, is a device used in video surveillance systems to record and store video footage from both analog and IP cameras. It combines the functionalities of a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) and a Network Video Recorder (NVR), allowing users to integrate existing analog cameras with newer IP cameras. XVRs typically offer flexible scalability, supporting a mix of camera types, and often include advanced features like remote access, motion detection, and video analytics. They are commonly used in settings where a combination of analog and IP cameras is present, such as retail stores, offices, and industrial sites.
